Procurement Lead – ISC Procurement Finance
Purpose of the Role:
This role supports the ISC (Integrated Supply Chain) function. The position requires leading the coordination with plant and/or function leadership, regional, global finance, and other cross functional stake holders across the financial planning and analysis activities.
What you'll be doing:
Lead the plant purchasing planning process (Plan, Forecasts, LRP) in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Provide financial and business support for material procurement to the plant(s) and Procurement function leaders (Directors) enabling optimal business decisions.
Lead the preparation of the Monthly/Quarterly Results Review, periodic LBE’s working closely with market leadership. Participate and lead monthly reviews of results.
Lead ad-hoc analysis requests for strategic evaluations, financial simulations, and excel modelling to provide insightful recommendations and support for management decision making.
Lead driving improved data analytics for the procurement team.
Lead the execution of the global financial initiatives alignment with plant and Procurement function leaders along with updates in global FP&A process.
Act as trusted business partner, leveraging financial, and business expertise to drive financial decisions.
Required Skills:
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with business partners
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power Query/PowerPivot), PowerPoint, and Outlook and ability to learn various ERP systems. (Examples include: JDE, SAP, Hyperion, Oracle EPM, etc.)
Strong analytical skills, familiarity with accounting and strong business acumen
Time management and influencing skills to drive initiative through complexity and change.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities
Initiative, accountability, and integrity with attention to details
Eagerness to learn and continuously improve with willingness to challenge the status quo
Ability to work with minimal guidance and provide mentorship/coaching to lower-level senior finance analysts on team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required with 5+ years of related work experience.
Strong Power Point and Excel skills
Desired Qualifications
MBA
Knowledge of JD Edwards (JDE), Hyperion Planning, SAP, Essbase and Cognos BI preferred
