The responsibilities of this position is to conduct financial analysis, assist with business case development as it relates to procurement/vendor related contracts and help with data driven decision making.
Responsibilities Prepare and analyze financial business cases and reports related to procurement/vendor activities and provide recommendations to the line of businessGenerate and interpret financial models and metricsCollaborate effectively across departments to ensure timely contract renewals and adherence to company policies and proceduresPerform variance analysis, track spending against budgets and provide detailed financial reports to managementIdentify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives and efficienciesCreate and produce accurate standard and ad-hoc queries and reports to support business needsMonitor and analyze corporate vendor spendPerform additional duties as assigned Qualifications 4-year bachelor’s in Accounting, Banking & Finance or Business Management or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 1 year’s financial/statistical analytical terminology and methodology experienceDemonstrated problem-solving skills The ability to complete tasks with accuracy, and attention to detailIndependent judgement and ability to work in a team environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organizationProficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word and an advanced knowledge of ExcelComfortable working with large amounts of dataAbility to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to maintain confidentiality Demonstrates critical thinking skills to analyze informationPhysical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
