Procurement Intern (Demand Planning) - Summer 2025
Position OverviewOur focus is simple but meaningful, from our distribution centers to our offices — every employee of C&S and their family of companies works to help feed local families, neighbors, and communities. As an Intern at C&S, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the wholesale grocery industry, contribute to meaningful projects, and better understand what goes into running one of the largest privately held companies in the US. You will have the opportunity to work alongside other interns and C&S employees to expand your network, participate in professional development opportunities, and enjoy some fun activities as well!

Job Description

Assist in daily operations and administrative tasks within the assigned department.

Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documentation.

Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency.

Attend meetings, take notes, and contribute ideas and insights.

Aid in further enhancing department tools, templates and methodologies

Gain exposure and knowledge on department functionalities

Develop positive professional relationships across departments

Complete special projects as assigned by your manager

Complete an end-of-internship presentation to showcase the completion of learning objectives

Collect, review, cleanse, and interpret data on customer buying habits 

Utilize data to create forecasts of demand from customers 

Research past trends to aid in future efforts 

Work with internal stakeholders and customers to implement findings from research

Compensation: 17/hr

Full-time, 12-week internship from May to August 

Location: Keene, NH at Corporate Drive office

Hybrid schedule

We’re searching for interns that are:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree program from an accredited university 

In good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or better

Sophmore, Junior or Senior standing at the time of the internship

Currently majoring in Economics, Supply Chain, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields

Proficient with Google’s suite of products required

Strong communicator, both written and verbal

Able to think outside of the box and solve problems

Able to work both with a team and be independently successfully

Able to stay organized and pay close attention to detail
