Procurement Lead

Role and Responsibilities

As our Procurement Lead, you will play a vital role in driving strategic sourcing and vendor management for Samsung Ads. You will be responsible for securing the best possible deals on goods and services, ensuring efficient contract negotiation, and fostering strong relationships with key vendors.

This role is a departmental leader who collaborates with IT, Finance, Legal, and Security to maintain, develop, and optimize the department’s strategic road map for vendors, ensuring that vendor onboarding and renewals continually support the overall business’s objectives.
 

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with Samsung Ads’ business objectives.Conduct market research and identify qualified vendors for required goods and services.Lead the negotiation and execution of contracts, ensuring optimal pricing and terms for Samsung Ads.Manage vendor relationships, building strong partnerships that deliver mutual benefit.Oversee the procurement process, ensuring adherence to company policies and best practices.Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize spending.Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various departments (Finance, Legal, etc.) to ensure a smooth procurement process.Stay updated on industry trends in procurement and sourcing best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

Required Skills And Experience

Minimum 6 years of experience in procurement or a related field.Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and securing cost savings.Strong understanding of procurement principles, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiation techniques.Experience in managing and maintaining vendor relationships.Experience handling projects independently and efficiently, collaborating with multiple teams.Highly organized and adept at managing priorities and multitasking.Ability to navigate through ambiguity independently in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility, collaboration, resourcefulness, and positive attitude are the keys to success in this role.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong relationships.A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.Fluency in Korean is a plus.

Compensation for this role, for candidates based in New York City, NY, is expected to be between $130,000 ~ $155,000.  Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
