Responsibilities
Our client is seeking a seasoned Procurement Lead with extensive experience in federal procurement processes to oversee major organizational contracts and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will bring advanced consulting expertise, a deep understanding of industry standards, and innovative solutions to complex procurement challenges. The role involves working independently with minimal supervision, mentoring, and supervising team members. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
Research and negotiate significant organizational contracts and procurementsApply advanced consulting and technical expertise to support federal procurement processesDevelop innovative solutions to address complex procurement challengesOperate with minimal supervision while mentoring and supervising team membersRequirements
10+ years of experience with federal procurements, including support to large and complex proposals and U.S. government programsExperience evaluating requirements for hardware and software procurements in support of Civil agency, DoD, and IC agency Prime Contracts, including FAR and DFARS flow-downs, special requirements, and performance work statementsExperience establishing CPSR-compliant procurement files greater than $250,000, including small business subcontracting plans, cost accounting standards, and the Truth in Negotiation ActExperience evaluating and negotiating terms and conditions to identify and mitigate risk based on purchase order award type, commodity, and anticipated award valueExperience evaluating software license agreements to ensure conformance with federal regulations, including GSAM or GSARExperience evaluating statements of work or bills of materials for completenessExperience evaluating source justifications to ensure compliance with procurement award typesExperience providing education on contract requirements and procurement processesAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks based on workload demandsPossession of excellent verbal and written communication skillsPossession of excellent organizational, consultative, and problem-solving skillsEducation/Certification Requirements
A HS diploma or GED is requiredClearance Requirements
