Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Procurement LeadershipDevelop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for integrated CSA and MEP packagesLead the tendering process from supplier identification to contract awardEstablish supplier evaluation criteria with emphasis on technical capabilities across disciplinesDrive innovation in procurement approaches to deliver cost efficiencies while maintaining quality standardsSupplier Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strategic relationships with key CSA and MEP suppliers and contractorsConduct regular performance reviews against established KPIsNegotiate favorable terms, pricing structures, and framework agreementsDevelop supplier capability and capacity to meet project requirementsTechnical Procurement ExpertiseAssess technical specifications for CSA and MEP works to ensure alignment with procurement strategyReview tender submissions with understanding of both structural and building services requirementsCollaborate with design teams to identify value engineering opportunities across disciplinesProvide technical input during contract negotiations for specialized equipment and servicesProcess Management & GovernanceEstablish and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practicesEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standardsImplement risk management strategies specific to CSA and MEP procurementDevelop and maintain procurement documentation systemsTeam LeadershipManage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and developmentFoster collaboration between procurement and technical/project teamsDrive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processesMentor team members in specialized technical procurement approachesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or related fieldProfessional qualification in procurement (CIPS, ISM) highly desirableMinimum 8 years' procurement experience with significant exposure to both CSA and MEP systemsProven track record in managing complex procurement for large-scale construction projectsStrong understanding of construction contracts and commercial frameworksSkillsAdvanced knowledge of building systems, construction methodologies, and material specificationsStrategic thinking with ability to align procurement approaches with project objectivesExcellent negotiation and stakeholder management capabilitiesStrong analytical skills for supplier evaluation and performance measurementEffective leadership qualities with ability to drive team performance
