The position will hold the overall responsibility for raw materials and Collaborative Manufacturing (CM) for Unilever Nutrition BU in Greater Asia (Key markets including Malaysia, Singapore & PH).
The primary objective is to ensure smooth flow of Procurement activities ensuring superior service and supporting superior product through driving resilience, savings & partnership programs and maintaining right Quality inline with Unilever sustainable sourcing program for materials. The role reports to Procurement Manager South East Asia (SEA)
Main Responsibilities
Service & Resilience:
Coordinating with Planning team and Suppliers to ensure smooth material delivery n+1 and beyond time horizonCoordinate with Global Buyers in ensuring timely placement of material contracts and delivery through effective negotiations & competitive benchmarking.Conduct quarterly / monthly Risks and opportunities connect to ensure material delivery risks are addressed with Contingency plans.Manage the operations of locally purchased material portfolio.Work with Supply Chain, R&D and Global buyers to ensure resilience action plan and execution in place to support business growth.Track RM/PM/CM aspects of Innovation networks to support OTIF Innovation delivery.Cost and Cash:
Ensure Net Material Inflation Target delivery for the Business Unit & market and enable Gross margin Delivery.Responsible for accurate input to market by reviewing the Quarterly Forecasting process with Global procurement and timely accurate short-term input as update to Monthly Material Forecasting process to reflect accurate Material costsCoordinate with R&D teams and support smart product/Spec initiatives and Ensure the Company Gross Margin agenda is delivered through Improved buying performance, 5S Savings and special initiatives for Raw Materials/ CM sitesConduct Cost benchmarking exercises locally/ globally and derive best value to the businessEnsure Cash Delivery through Creditor ManagementStrategic Partnerships:
Coordinate and execute Partnerships program for local sourcing inline with Unilever sustainability agenda.Implementation of supplier strategy, Sourcing Network strategy and end to end management of raw materials and Collaborative Manufacturing (CM) space.Manage Cost and Service of CM portfolio by effective assessment of CM partners & through commercial and contract negotiations.Value Chain mapping – Work with Strategy & Insights steam on Value stream mapping to enhance supply performance.Quality and Compliance:
Drive Quality and Compliance standards across suppliers for supply partnersEnsure Responsible Sourcing (RS) Compliance of Suppliers and supply partnersConduct Technical Risk Assessment and follow up on actions basis business needsQualifications:
