About the team
The Worldpay procurement team brings focused expertise and drives a culture of spending discipline for strategic vendors/categories (highly critical to current and future business operations) via the employment of efficient, effective, and best in class strategic sourcing, contract management, negotiation, and supplier management practices. They serve as a central point of contact for strategic suppliers.
What you’ll own
As Procurement Manager P2P and Supplier Diversity you will lead the integration of diversity & inclusion initiatives into Worldpay’s Procure-to-Pay processes and capabilities while driving improvement opportunities that ensure a streamlined and simplified procurement experience to business stakeholders. You will collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute strategies that embed diversity and inclusion across supplier selection processes.
You will be responsible for the management and continuous improvement of the supplier diversity program, ensure efficiencies across procure to pay related processes, and developing/providing timely reporting to support business needs.
Drive the development of Worldpay’s supplier diversity program with a clear short-term & long-term roadmap and ensure efficient execution.
Lead the development and execution of initiatives that integrate supplier diversity into Worldpay procurement processes.
Ensure that supplier diversity principles/objectives are embedded into procurement’s supplier selection processes.
Implement accurate reporting to support business goals.
Drive continuous improvements to P2P and supplier diversity operating procedures.
Partner cross-functionally to ensure Worldpay’s Supplier Diversity program fulfills the company’s obligations on the matter.
Collaborate with sourcing managers to create a pipeline of prospective qualified diverse suppliers and develop processes that ensure their participation in RFPs/RFIs.
Collaborate within WP Procurement Operations to identify opportunities to streamline operational and payment processes.
Drive efficiencies in reporting, processing, develop initiatives that enable self-service, and reduce manual intervention.
Develop useful reference materials that directs stakeholders to the correct procurement channels.
Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders such as Finance to address Procure to Pay (P2P) issues as applicable.
Where you’ll own it
While we’re a large team of Worldpayers based in North America, we have collaborative spaces and regular opportunities to celebrate with each other in person.
What you bring
7+ years of experience in Procurement and/or operational roles.
Proven experience leading and managing supplier diversity programs.
Leadership experience in operational procurement and reporting.
Proven ability to coach and develop a team.
Strong Project Management skills.
Experience managing complex projects, ideally related to S2P implementation, enhancements, and development of supplier diversity programs.
Experience with process mapping, optimization, and implementation.
Strong background in Procurement technologies that support the Source-to-Pay process.
Previous experience in a technology or software company is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in a procurement related field preferred.
Proven experience streamlining end-to-end procurement processes.
Strong interpersonal skills to partner effectively with key functions across the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
