Purpose of Role:

To provide leadership and management to the cost effective and timely supply and fulfilment of the procurement of raw materials, chemicals, metals parts and any other WMM or WMM -related procurement requirements, direct and indirect materials and services.To strengthen the commercial aspect of WMM business in relations to Contracts management and negotiations on all direct and indirect materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:
· Focus Area:

Develop, implement and manage Supplier Relationship programs,Project management around commercial negotiations,Identify multiple suppliers for key purchases and critical materials,Actively seek and implement continuous cost savings for purchases in WMM on a local and global basisResponsible for timely delivery of purchases, follow up and progress chasing of orders.Develop, implement and monitor KPIs for Purchasing Department

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

A Masters or a Degree in Materials Management, Supply Chain Management or Operations ManagementPersons with related Engineering background in materials and indirect project management are also encouraged to apply as long as there are proven track record of driving Procurement activities around negotiations of large contracts, contracts detailing.Minimum 5 years of experience in a Managerial role with relations to Purchasing, Procurement, Commodities management, preferably in a rubber and metal manufacturing organisation,Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologiesWorking experience within automotive, metals, electronics, power industrial, oil and gas industries while not necessary will have an added advantage.Ability to use SAP in supporting the Procurement function is essential.
