Procurement Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic and\r\ninquisitive procurement professional to join our Strategic Procurement Delivery\r\nteam. As a Procurement Manager, you will lead on multiple procurement projects\r\nfor our NHS Customers, running the procurement strategy, producing the relevant\r\ndocumentation, utilising standard process and innovative procurement solutions,\r\nconducting the tender evaluation and award processes. Alongside this, you will\r\nalso support our customers and provide training and advice on the procurement\r\nprocess whilst providing added new value and standard methodology.

This position is predominantly home\r\nbased, with onsite meetings being held once per month at our Salford office and\r\nnational travel to supplier and client sites when required.

What you'll be doing:

Leading Procurement projects (scoping, pre-tendering\r\n activities, tendering, selection, evaluation, moderation and potentially\r\n contract negotiation).Providing high quality customer focused procurement and\r\n service design advice to external customers whilst supporting the team in\r\n delivery of projects.Crafting and maintaining positive, collaborative, and\r\n supportive professional relationships with internal collaborators and\r\n external customers, as well as actively generating and establishing\r\n relationships with new customers.Actively generating opportunities for future work through the\r\n ongoing development of professional networks of contacts across the NHS\r\n and wider public sector.Horizon scanning in order to identify development and new\r\n opportunities for new and existing customers.

What you’ll bring:

CIPS or willingness to undertake.Experience and/or knowledge or working with the NHS and/or UK Public Sector.Experience in the procurement process, including leading tendering projects and framework call offs.Knowledge of Procurement Contract Regulations 2015, Provider Selection Regime and New Procurement Act 2023.Knowledge/ experience of Procurement ERP systems, eSourcing tools.Working experience with internal & external collaborators of various levels.Excellent IT and Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and Outlook)
