Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Explore, develop, and implement sustainable cost reduction solutions for procurement by aligning with company goals through the use of open and transparent communication with internal/external customers, deployment of strategic negotiation efforts, supplier relationship management, and exercising superior interpersonal skills.
Supervise the contract life cycle for all facilities related contracts by promoting cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders within the facilities department and corporate counsel in an effort to reduce financial and legal risk exposure in supplier agreements.Effectively deliver excellent customer service, procurement and sourcing expertise throughout the facilities department.Seek improved contractual conditions and identify opportunities to reduce cost for goods and professional services.Strategically supervise the contract administration process, the procurement and negotiation of facilities goods and services, interfacing with stakeholders and suppliers and seek improvements to cost, quality and service.Collaborate with subject matter experts in drafting contracts, responding to price requests from vendors, drafting Statements of Work (SOW), amendments and commercial negotiations such as identifying cost avoidance, risk, incentives and value-add opportunities.Realize and track cost savings through sourcing, negotiating, leveraging spend and supplier relationship management.Advise and guide business owners around key measurements and scorecard development to ensure supplier performance, while accounting for financial penalties, as well as working through dispute resolution.Educate and socialize procurements' role and purpose, in order to build awareness and buy in across the facilities group.Manage stakeholder conflict(s) and make determinations around appropriate escalation path to ensure continued success.Triage activity to identify and categorize incoming project requests from business owners and determine appropriate course of action.Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring
3+ years directly related experience required.Previous project management experience preferred.Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.Purchasing Certification (CPSM) preferred.Must posses technical knowledge of commodities buying.Must be able to drive projects to completion.Must possess good decision-making skills.Must be proficient in contract language/administration and skills.Must possess strong negotiation skills.Must possess excellent communication skills and able to interact with all levels within the organization.Must be familiar with contract management system.
Pay Range: $51,250.00 - $58,750.00 Annual
