Overview This position helps lead the strategic implementation and execution of procurement services which include but not limited to pharmacy, environmental and dietary services, furniture, fixtures and equipment, medical supplies, office supplies, fleet management, print and shipping services. How you Will make a difference Thoroughly investigate potential supply partners in advance of use within our facilities. Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the customer experience, enhance workflow, and/or improve the work environment. Maintain excellent relationships with proposed and existing supply partners. Estimate cost parameters and budgets for capital purchases. Support with continuous improvement opportunities in procurement processes, procedure and systems. Support with the development of programs to discover cost reductions throughout supplier services, while actively pursuing the development of new suppliers. Review and analyze supplier pricing options. Reconcile financial transactions and PPE inventory. Generate Request for Proposals, (RFP’s) as directed by Supervisor for supplier relationships coming up to term. Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services. Perform risk management for supplier agreements in cooperation with Supervisor. Monitor business trends and product availability continuously improving the overall quality of supplier formularies without sacrificing quality or lead time on delivery. Support the coordination of the department schedule between the field, internal management, and suppliers. Other special projects and duties, as assigned. What you Need to make a Difference Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics or related field preferred. Two (2) years of progressive experience in the Supply Chain field. Essential leadership skills include the ability to facilitate and build consensus, persuasiveness, and ability to build/work in a team. Strong analytical, conceptual and organizational skills are necessary; as well as, proficient written and oral communication skills that demonstrate a professional image and ensure communication is understood by the listener.
