The Procurement Manager – Information Technology (IT) will have leadership for Ecolab’s Indirect procurement category and drive high impact initiatives across assigned IT spend, key IT categories and strategic supplier relationships to deliver operational efficiencies and strong OI improvements through internal collaboration with stakeholders and enabling a high-performance sourcing team. A proven track record of strong leadership, business acumen, and strategic thinking in conjunction with outstanding ability to drive results are essential.
Location: Position available in St. Paul area following hybrid policy, 60/40.
What You Will Do:
Responsible for total cost management, risk management, accelerated supplier innovation and procurement process improvements across the organization in the IT category and subcategories (IT)Develops and drives the overall strategy of IT category and sub-categories in alignment with Ecolab, functional, and business unit objectivesLead and develops strategic supplier relationships at the executive levelAttract, hire, and retain top sourcing and procurement talent to ensure appropriate succession planning. Coach, mentor, and develop direct/indirect reports within assigned global procurement team to improve skills, execution, and results. Develops and deploys organizational structure to support functional strategies. Drives to achieve 100% engagement with the right talent, right people, in the right place. Develop global sourcing strategies and drive execution within indirect IT area using Strategic Sourcing Principles.Establish and update processes and metrics to deliver maximize savingsMaintain awareness of global macro-economic factors that directly impact Ecolab’s procurement costs.Develop alternate sourcing strategies as these factors begin to negatively impact Ecolab’s purchasing operationsMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree7 years of relevant IT procurement experiencePrevious experience negotiating complex enterprise-wide IT contractPrior IT procurement experience (VARs, IBM, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, Cloud Services, Security, Hardware, etc.)No immigration sponsorship availablePreferred Qualifications:
