Procurement Manager - Maintenance and Repair
**Position Description** The Procurement Manager position focuses on Restaurant Maintenance & Repair (M&R) and is responsible for sourcing, category management and tactical purchasing activities across multiple areas of spend in collaboration with operations and cross-functional team members. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Identify & Realize Cost-improvement Opportunities + Develop and execute purchasing strategies for goods and services by conducting opportunity assessments, benchmarking, cost modeling and root cause analysis + Build & Manage Relationships + Manage vendor relationships to maximize value and mitigate risk to the business + Build, maintain and grow effective relationships across the enterprise + Elevate Team & Organizational Effectiveness + Act as a business partner in support of strengthening market-level & Support Center operations + Leverage a continuous improvement focus to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement team **Desired Skills** + Creative critical thinker with advanced problem-solving and sound decision-making abilities + Demonstrable analytical ability with a sharp eye for numerical detail and ability to understand and discuss potential financial outcomes + Results-oriented, “hands-on” individual with a high attention to detail + Able to influence outcomes, without direct authority, building a high-level of credibility in the process + Effective communication skills and experience partnering with various levels of the organization + Openness to change, resilience and comfort with ambiguity in a high-energy, fast paced industry. **Experience & Education** + 5-7 years general procurement experience with 3-5 years directly managing Facilities and/or Construction categories + 3-5 years contract management experience + Restaurant and/or foodservice experience preferred + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain preferred + Professional certification(s) preferred (i.e. CRFP, CPSM, APICS) + Project management skills desired + Highly proficient in Office 365 environment, SAP experience a plus **Why Work for Flynn?** Flynn Restaurant Group offers a variety of benefits and perks to encourage and empower our employees.
