Reporting to the Director of Global Procurement, the Procurement Manager - Sustainability and ESG will play a pivotal role in integrating sustainability into our global procurement practices. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards, driving ethical sourcing strategies, and fostering a culture of inclusivity and sustainability within the supply chain.
This position is part of the Global Procurement Team located in Waltham, Massachusetts and will be hybrid.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Oversee Veralto’s Scope 3 emissions data collection and accurate reporting of supply chain data in compliance with CSRD, CSDDD (LkSG), and other local and global regulatory requirements and ESG frameworks.Develop and implement sustainable procurement policies and strategies aligned with Veralto's sustainability goals and ESG standards.Manage the collection, analysis, and reporting of CMRT/EMRT data to ensure compliance with outside regulatory requirements and industry standards.Collaborate with suppliers to assess and monitor their sustainability performance, utilizing tools such as EcoVadis.Lead initiatives to improve supplier diversity and inclusion, ensuring a responsible and ethical supply chain.Conduct supplier assessments to proactively identify ESG-related risks and close gaps between current processes and international human rights frameworks.Work with corporate stakeholders to team up with our OPCOs on key sustainability initiatives and put the plan into action in a practical way.Provide training and support to internal procurement teams on sustainable procurement practices.Monitor and report on key sustainability metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability in procurement activities.The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistics, Business Administration, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on sustainability and ESG.Strong knowledge of sustainable procurement practices and ESG standards such as CSRD, CSDDD (LkSG), CBAM, CMRT/EMRT, Human Rights in Supply Chain, and Supplier Diversity is preferred.Proven track record of driving sustainability initiatives and achieving measurable results.Experience with supplier assessment tools such as EcoVadis is preferred.With annual sales of $5 billion, Veralto is a global leader in essential technology solutions with a proven track record of solving some of the most complex challenges we face as a society. The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $115000 - $155000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
