THE ROLEThe Procurement Manager is responsible for leading and managing the organisation's procurement activities. This role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining quality and compliance.
The Procurement Manager will play a crucial role in optimising the supply chain and driving efficiency across the organization.
WHAT WILL I BE DOINGStrategic procurement skills
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goalsIdentify and analyze market trends to anticipate changes in supply and demandConduct spend analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvementsEstablish and maintain procurement policies and proceduresSupplier management skillsProactive management of all technology suppliers from a commercial perspectiveIdentify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliabilityNegotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable termsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key suppliersMonitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepanciesConduct supplier audits and evaluations as neededReporting and Analysis skills:Prepare and present procurement reports and metricsAnalyse procurement data to identify trends and opportunitiesProvide recommendations for process improvements and cost savingsEnsure compliance with all internal and external auditing requirementsWHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?
Must have:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldExperience in a procuement position managing a teamStrong knowledge of procurement principles and practicesProven experience in contract negotiation and supplier managementExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in procurement software and ERP systemsCertification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, ISM) is highly desirableStrong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement ABOUT THE LOCATIONBased in our East London Studios in vibrant Shoreditch with perks and benefits offered from local businesses including discounts on food, shopping and health & beauty.
