What You'll Do:

As a Procurement Operations Excellence Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, managing a team of individuals supporting the Global Procurement Organization You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life. Along with their team, you are responsible for managing processes, policies, programs, and training to support Procurement efforts such as strategy execution, risk mitigation, compliance, onboarding, sustainability, and E-sourcing. This role is accountable for leading the development and implementation of Best-in-Class Procurement processes and procedures. This role collaborates with global Procurement management, planners, finance, sourcing managers, IT, and others to support and leverage various initiatives and objectives.

 

What We're Looking For:

Manage a team comprised of business analysts, process owners, and process change champions. Drive the implementation of Best-in-Class Procurement practices, including support of Lubrizol’s digitalization efforts. Create and maintain a robust global Procurement training program to build the organization’s capabilities. Develop and implement improvements to existing processes. Ensure best practices are established and utilized globally. Possess an in-depth knowledge and understanding of all Direct, Indirect, 3PM, and Logistics Procurement processes to optimize efficiency, productivity, and compliance. Define project requirements with stakeholders such as scope, objectives, and deliverables to ensure timely project completion by the team. Drive strategic initiatives, communicate status, and monitor progress through metrics and KPIs. Effectively communicate project related updates and present solutions to project sponsors and Procurement leadership. Successfully manage multiple projects and managerial tasks simultaneously. Diligently prioritize the team’s work while keeping in mind importance, value creation, global reach, and time commitment. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers. Train and coach team members, including Performance and Career Management. Ability to lead and work effectively in cross-functional, global teams.

Skills That Make a Difference:

Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a technical degree.  Minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement or Business Process related fields. Demonstrated ability to lead a team. SAP experience.  Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfortable presenting to a variety of audiences. Demonstrated project management skills – defining scope, developing a plan, and timely execution. Strong understanding of the Source to Pay process. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple, competing projects within resource constraints. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent PC skills in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SharePoint.

Considered a Plus:

Experience managing direct reports. Strong Azure Data Lake, Sirion, or Ariba knowledge. Experience leading large Procurement transformation, business operations, or technology process improvement projects. Project experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
