The Procurement Operations Senior Officer is responsible for performing procurement operations activities, including procure-to-pay, preparing spend reports, and buying activities (e.g. travel and catering). This is a 6-month FTC

The opportunity:

The Procurement Operations Senior Officer plays a key role in driving operational efficiency. Responsible for performing procurement operations activities, including procure-to-pay, preparing spend reports, and buying activities (e.g. travel and catering), along with training, education of the business, policy adherence and strategies. 

This is a 6-month fixed term contract.

To do this successfully you will:

Perform procure-to-pay activities including raising purchase requisitions and receiving purchase orders in Ariba.Assist with Vendor Maintenance requests, including onboarding new vendors.Support Finance Controls, including adherence with Third Party Management (TPM) and ensure that Contract Workspaces (CWs) are raised accurately.Run and analyse the monthly report and manage the process for follow up of open purchase orders in Ariba.Support corporate travel and liaise with the travel management company when required, including maintaining cost centres and approvers.Manage the onboarding and offboarding of Uber for Business users and ensure the cost centre listing is kept current.Ensure all purchasing and procurement activities are carried out in accordance with AIA company policy.Assist Internal audit and external audit activities in respect to contract administration, procurement, outsourcing reviews and offshoring, including BCM, supplier risk assessments

Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge of procurement systems and proceduresStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to effectively communicate to people at all levels of the business.A high level of attention to detail and organisation capabilityFlexibility to handle a range of tasks with changing priorities.Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervisionDemonstrates ability to multitask and prioritize effectivelyKnowledge and experience with ARIBA, Concur and Corporate Travel systems is highly desired
