Procurement Ops Associate

Job Summary
• This role is responsible for working within the procurement team to achieve safe and timely acquisition of goods and services necessary for the organization's smooth operations. The role uses procurement subject matter expertise to solve problems, ensure compliance, and improve efficiency. The role collaborates with teams to maintain and enhance the current business objectives and operational processes.

Responsibilities
• Provides extensive transactional procurement support, focusing on fundamental business, purchasing and financial controls that require a high level of technical expertise.
• Performs and monitors process-oriented tasks as assigned while applying a high level of judgment and experience to align individual and team work with overall strategy.
• Leads cost reduction efforts and process improvements, analyzing underlying problems, scoping projects effectively, and ensuring timely execution.
• Develops and implements measurement methods for suppliers to drive continuous performance improvement.
• Manages supplier relationships and performance to ensure timely deliveries and quality, fostering strong partnerships for mutual benefit.
• Contributes to strategic initiatives and helps implement tactical solutions.
• Collaborates with team and internal partners to ensure established processes are followed, meet compliance requirements, and contribute to organizational goals.
• Provides independent analytical and tactical support with limited supervision.
• Develops and supervises junior-level procurement staff, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Executes company procurement strategies, policies, and tactics to achieve objectives, contributing to organizational success.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Bachelor's degree in disciplines such as economics, engineering, business administration or supply chain management or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 6-8 years of related work experience, preferably in procurement, category management, operations, or a related field.

The base pay range for this role is $59,200 to $87,650 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
