Job Description

Planning:

Supply manufacturing with the required components and raw materialsRight amounts, right time, right quality (100% parts availability)Ensure cost-effectiveness in procurementEnsure optimum levels of inventoryContinuous control and optimization of material planningContinuous control and optimization of ABC parts analysisProcurement of raw material and components according to defined ordering pointsConduct monthly supplier evaluation and improve supplier performance

Organize and conduct supplier coaching:

To reduce logistics errors from suppliersTo improve supplier performance (on time delivery)Introduce the right delivery concepts with strategic suppliers according to plant strategy (consignment, ship to line, ship to supermarket).

Qualifications

Studies and experience:

University degree in purchasing, economics, mechanical engineering, logisticsPractical experience Broad knowledge in procurement planningBasic knowledge in sourcing / production planningWork experience in production environment, preferably automotiveMS-Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)SAP R/3 (MM, LE)

Language skills:

 English: Very good German: Preferred but not mandatory

Soft skills:

 Communication and team-orientation Negotiation management Reliable and structured working attitude
