Procurement Purchase Analyst

We are Operating since 2008 & Serving 30+ Countries. + In this key role, as part of Harsco’s Clean Earth Division, the Procurement Purchasing Analyst is responsible for supporting Procurement and the business by purchasing materials, equipment, supplies, and services. Helps ensure policy and procedure adherence to maximize value and reduce risk for the business. Support sourcing, contracting, requisitions, procurement, and management processes related to the procurement-to-pay process. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Manages and executes various procurement process activities and tasks for the organization + Work closely with the Operations, Finance, Legal, and other functions to ensure the procure-to-pay process is optimized and running efficiently and effectively + Draft and capture specifications for solicitations to vendors and help with the posting and evaluation process, as required + Identify suppliers / service providers through market research for competitive bids and for alternative prices, services, and products the company may want to consider to better manage the business + Review purchase orders / requests for completeness, accuracy, and policy adherence to help the business maximize value and reduce risk within its supplier base + Provide support to business with purchase orders / requests (e.g., form completion, research, policy adherence, etc.) + Conducts periodic field checks / audits, as directed and required, to ensure compliance and adherence with policies and procedures + Maintain a filing system for all administrative and operational records and manage program database and documentation for required administrative activities **Required:** + Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years experience performing a similar role if no Bachelor’s degree, preferably for an industrial company, but not required **Preferred:** + Highly organized and great time and task management skills, with a keen attention to detail + Experience using data to help leaders solve business problems and make informed decisions + Good communication skills + Ability to work independently and as part of a team – highly self-motivated + Ability to travel as necessary (0-10% travel) + Experience with an enterprise procurement system desirable (e.g., Coupa, Oracle Procurement, etc.) + Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with the ability to speak and communicate effectively with both senior management and technicians/operators + Ability to prioritize multiple requests and tasks from different parties and effectively set priorities and expectations in a fast-paced and changing environment + Ability to collaborate and bridge across functional boundaries + Ability to perform consistently with Harsco Values of Respect, Inclusion, Employee Care, Integrity, Passion for Winning, and Satisfy the Customer **Disclaimer** The information about this job description given above has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
