Description:

You will be the Procurement Representative for the Advanced Threat Warning Systems program Global Supply Chain team. Our team is responsible for managing the procurement of materials and supplies for all ATWS sensor programs, ensuring seamless operations and driving business success.



What You Will Be Doing
As the Procurement Representative, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing a wide range of goods and services to support our organization's operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify procurement opportunities, analyze data, and make informed decisions that drive cost savings and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:
• Sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing machinery, equipment, tools, raw materials, packaging materials, parts, services, and supplies
• Compiling and analyzing statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and establishing price objectives
• Monitoring supplier performance and evaluating areas of opportunity to leverage material acquisitions
• Negotiating with suppliers to determine factors that affect prices and ensuring lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and schedule requirements
• Reviewing proposals, selecting or recommending suppliers, analyzing trends, and following up on orders placed
• Preparing request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages as needed

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated problem solving skills, business acumen and ability to make business-based decisions
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional Supplier Management Teams
• Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR / DFAR / LMAP / and MFC Work Instructions
• Experience with LM Procure to Pay (P2P) and SAP
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
