Procurement Solutions Professionals are team members who may bring with them multiple capabilities and/or Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in a specific area (Battery Cell technology development, manufacturing process at supplier location, Battery Cell upstream, downstream value chain aspects, deep understand the Battery Cell industry). They are the individual contributors on teams working on deliverables/duties that may include project management process improvement, process development, and process execution. **W** **hat** **You Will Do:** Responsible to provide support as assigned to execute processes and/or deliver project assignments. In addition this level would take a larger role in self-directing his or her own work. Work assignments may be specialized in nature but may also be broad based with coordination between other staff personnel to complete a larger project. This role also takes a leadership role in coordination and collaboration events and meetings. Leads the collection and analysis of data, works with team members to resolve errors, explains changes and recommends actions to resolve problems. Provides analysis and recommendations needed to increase accuracy and execution velocity to be successful in implementing projects on time, with in cost, and meeting targets. Creates reports for team to efficiently communicate accurate project and/or operational performance level information. Participates in and/or leads team meetings and is prepared to provide information to ensure meetings are timely, efficient, and follow agenda. Works with leader to ensure outcomes are consistent with goals. Collaborates with Supplier Development Engineer (SDE), Category Buyer, Design Engineering on project management, supplier selection sourcing strategy development, critical issues solving activities, etc. Understand the basic Quality Tools, work with SDE and Category Buyer on supplier development activities as a Subject Matter Expert (SME); Deep dive in cell upstream (Cathode, Anode, Electrolyte, Separator) and downstream (Power Module, BMS, PDU) value chain, raw material technology, supply chain, design concept, etc. areas to improve the organization on overall understanding. Train Category and SDE team on Battery Cell/Fuel Cell new product technical development process, Power Battery System development and application knowledge. Support SDE on quality issue root cause analysis and problem resolution. Support Category Buyer & Manger on supplier risk evaluation and selection, working out technical evaluations to the sourcing strategy. Liaise with Design Engineering team to provide supply base capability evaluation and technical inputs from manufacturing feasibility aspects. Good understanding of Battery Cell/Fuel Cell industry, collect the intelligence from multiple ways and analyze the information to provide guidance to support Procurement Strategy Planning. Good understanding of Standards, Regulations & Compliance of Battery Cell, could support Procurement team to review the regulatory requirements for exports business. **What Skills You Will Have:** **Effective Communications** : Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. • Delivers helpful feedback that focuses on behaviors without offending the recipient. • Listens to feedback without defensiveness and uses it for own communication effectiveness. • Makes oral presentations and writes reports needed for own work. • Avoids technical jargon when inappropriate. • Looks for and considers non-verbal cues from individuals and groups **Data Analytics** : Knowledge of techniques and processes for inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling data; ability to discover useful information, draw logical conclusions, and support decision-making. • Collects required data through various data sources and documents them for evaluating trends and activities. • Assists in preparing charts, graphs, tables, and other tools to represent the results obtained from data analysis. • Researches business-related data, analyzes, interprets, and presents findings to management. • Recognizes and assesses problems, opportunities, and methods for improving existing business performance. • Utilizes designated data analysis software to analyze the data. **Required Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required Must have strong oral and written communication skills, good analytical and organizational skills. Must be a self-starter, team player and have the ability to multitask effectively. Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required. Need have Lithium-ion Battery Development or Manufacturing experience. **Desired Qualifications:** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or with technical focus highly valued 3-5 years of previous work experience is highly desired in such fields as purchasing, supply chain, operations, engineering, product development, or marketing.
