Job Description 

Corporate Services manages sourcing and procurement activities for select categories at A&F Co. Global Home Office. We are looking for a naturally curious self-starter with strong critical thinking skills who can demonstrate flexibility and agility in a fast-paced, digitally led environment.

The ideal candidate must be a relationship builder and able to collaborate and communicate effectively with business partners, stakeholders, and key strategic suppliers, as high levels of coordination are required. 

The individual in this role will play a key part in the success of our Corporate Services supplier selection, contracting, and lifecycle relationship management. They will manage indirect spend for select categories such as Human Resources, Finance, Store Operations, Asset Protection and Relocation, among other categories, across various applications and technologies.

The Procurement Specialist role is part of the Corporate Services Procurement team and is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.  

What Will You Be Doing? 

Cross-Functional PartnershipsDevelop strong relationships with business partners to understand needs and requirementsGain deep expertise in categories, suppliers, and market dynamicsCollaborate with Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, IT, and other key stakeholdersSupplier Selection & ManagementDrive supplier selection through RFI, RFP or other techniquesPromote supplier diversity, sustainability, and ESG initiativesEnsure compliance with internal and external regulationsSupplier Performance & Relationship ManagementIdentify and manage strategic vendorsOversee performance reviews, scorecards, SLAs, and KPIsMarket Intelligence & ReportingTrack and report on spend, cost savings, pay terms, and rebatesBenchmark industry trends and identify improvement opportunitiesAssess new tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costsContract ManagementDrive adoption of contract best practicesLead legal and functional contract reviewsNegotiate and execute favorable contracts, ensuring clarity for business owners and suppliersManage contract renewals, amendments, and terminationsCategory & Expense ManagementMaintain category roadmaps and oversee supplier risk reviewsOptimize expense management, including travel and new categoriesTrack and maximize use of credits, incentives, and vouchersBenchmark cost-saving opportunities and negotiate better pricing with providersEnsure policy compliance and adherence to per diemsConduct QBRs and roadmap reviews with key suppliersEnsure contract compliance and maintain A&F Co. as a preferred customer

What Do You Need To Bring? 

Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of related experienceStrong negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels and global teamsCustomer-focused mindset with a collaborative approach to building business partnershipsAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needsDetail-oriented with strong follow-through and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated and resilient in tackling challengesAbility to handle protected vendor data with discretion and follow compliance protocolsWillingness to work alternate hours as needed to support global time zonesThrives in a fast-paced, structured environmentProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)Experience with PeopleSoft, iValua, and DocuSign is a plusDesire to learn, improve, and take on new challenges
