Purpose

This role will provide category leadership of the company’s Americas Region Fleet Program, partnering with key functional stakeholders to develop and manage company’s fleet program.  The role will drive procurement events in additional assigned indirect procurement topics including travel and expense.  This is a pivotal role in ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement practices are followed for assigned categories.  Role will contribute to the overall success and competitiveness of our organization by driving operational excellence, fostering sustainable supplier partnerships, and optimizing procurement practices to deliver value to the organization. 

Responsibilities

Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiating contracts, and terms to secure best pricing and terms for goods and services required by the organizationDevelop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, facilitating regular cadence of governanceCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs, provide guidance and support to optimize decisions and adhere to policiesMonitor supplier performance, track key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions as neededFollow and manage insurance policy for program, managing instances of requirements from cross-border travel.  Review and approval of specifications for program, including standard safety features to be included in manufacturer agreements.  Make pragmatic decisions on asset and financial topics, providing recommendations to leadership for major transactions. Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, supplier consolidation initiatives, and drive implementation of approved initiatives.Conduct market research and data analysis as necessary to facilitate sourcing events

Basic Qualifications

2-5 years experience in a procurement or buying roleBachelors DegreeExperience working in SAP or a similar ERP system, skills with MS Office
