Procurement Specialist, Lead - CBP BI or Top Secret Clearance

As a Procurement Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

Manage the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring compliance with organizational and governmental policies and regulations. Develop and execute acquisition strategies to procure goods and services efficiently and cost-effectively. Prepare and review solicitation documents including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Invitations for Bids (IFBs), and Requests for Quotations (RFQs). Negotiate contract terms and conditions, ensuring favorable terms that align with organizational objectives and legal requirements. Coordinate with stakeholders to define and understand procurement requirements, ensuring accurate and efficient purchasing processes. Administer and oversee contract performance, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time. Evaluate supplier proposals and bids, conducting cost and price analysis to determine the best value. Ensure adherence to the government purchasing process, staying updated on relevant laws and regulations such as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Facilitate contract modifications and amendments, addressing changes in project scope, timelines, or budget. Collaborate with finance teams to manage procurement budgets, track expenditures, and forecast future procurement needs. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, fostering partnerships and continuous improvement in the supply chain. Resolve billing and invoicing discrepancies with vendors and suppliers to maintain accurate financial records. Prepare and present procurement reports to management, providing insights into expenses, vendor performance, and cost-saving opportunities. Implement best practices in procurement, promoting efficiency, transparency, and ethical purchasing standards. Conduct risk assessment and mitigation planning for procurement activities, ensuring business continuity.
