Wherever you choose to carve your career, we’ll support and encourage you in our inclusive culture. **About the Role:** + Responsible for procurement of assigned items and executing buying strategies in accordance with agreed upon material buying plans at the optimum cost/quality relationship. Analyzes market and industry conditions and develops supply recommendations. Assists with contract negotiations for implementation. Owns supplier relationships at the purchase to pay level in driving all the day-to-day business (e.g. SAP management, Accounts Payable reconciliation, etc.). + Financial Responsibility- Supports the Procurement Category Manager for overall Procurement delivery and performance for the NA category. Liaises with Procurement Category Managers/Directors across the North America and Global business to deliver the NA AOP. + Complexity of Role- Requires knowledge and experience across the key Supply categories (e.g. Materials Planning, Conversion, Innovation, Finance, Packaging, etc.) that are necessary to build relationships, lead cohesive strategy execution, and drive cross-functional value. Builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers. Interacts and optimally communicates with multiple functions. + Management Responsibility-Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction. Supports management with category spend, accurate standard setting, forecast and overall cost management of category. Responsible for the tracking and reporting of all value creation benefits including cost savings and cost avoidance. + Decision Making - Solves a range of straightforward problems; analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures and receives stakeholder alignment with decision making. **Role Responsibilities** **​:** + Supports setting strategic direction for a specific category area. + Supports the execution of regional category strategies; negotiations, etc. + Strong working relationship with conversion, planning, innovation & brand change, and suppliers. + Leads the execution of purchase orders, scheduling agreements, resolution of invoice issues, and data management of suppliers for a relevant category. + Experience in various functions of SAP (Scheduling Agreements, PO creation, vendor management) + Where appropriate, may lead supplier selection and sourcing for subset of a category or low spend category. **Qualifications and Experience:** + College degree or equivalent experience preferred. + One to three years experience in supply chain or procurement experience in a consumer products environment preferred.- + Experience in purchase to pay systems (SAP). + High level of experience using MS Office Programs- Demonstrated analytical and interpersonal skills. + Strong verbal and written communication skills- Strong negotiation skills- Demonstrated ability to analyze projects/processes, development and implement recommendations, and make sound decisions in support of business needs. + Solid communication skills. **Flexible Working Statement:** Flexibility is key to our success.
