**Title: Procurement Specialist**
**Location: Fully Remote (Candidates must work standard PST business hours from 8am-5pm PST)**
**Duration: 3 Months (Likely, the team is hoping to extend into FY26 once budgets are confirmed)**
**Pay Rate Range: $35 to $39/hr**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing, supporting, and placing orders for Procurement Operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, skilled in prioritization, and able to manage large volumes of work efficiently. They should have a strong passion for operations and problem-solving in a high-scale environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Assist the Hardware Procurement team in processing over 25,000 purchase orders annually.
+ Identify and resolve cycle time issues in Pricing and Procurement requests.
+ Partner with Finance to streamline approval cycle times.
+ Work directly with suppliers to process price validation and ensure accurate pricing for Procurement team use.
+ Process price and procurement requests from various sources (tickets, emails, or Microsoft management).
+ Track and manage Pricing and Procurement requests, escalating roadblocks and ensuring timely completion.
+ Identify toll gates for new markets relating to OPEX and CAPEX procurement before demand enters the pipeline.
+ Collaborate with Supply Chain Operations Management, Capacity Planning, and Clear to Build teams to ensure timely demand fulfilment.
+ Provide clear, effective, and timely communications across stakeholders.
**Top 3 Required Hard Skills & Experience**
1. SAP Experience (5+ years) – Additional experience with other financial tools is a plus.
2. Pricing Contracts & Approvals (5+ years) – Experience in contract pricing and approval workflows.
3. Supply Chain and/or Procurement (5+ years) – Experience in procurement or supply chain management.
**Skills & Qualifications**
+ Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage with business leaders at all levels.
+ Ability to maintain a broader perspective and collaborate across teams.
+ Strong organization and time-management skills, with high attention to detail.
+ Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
**Required Experience**
+ Bachelor’s degree in operations, Procurement, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
+ Minimum 4 years in Operations Project or Program Management.
**Preferred Experience**
+ Experience writing SQL queries and developing Excel and Power BI reports.
+ Ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
+ Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to influence non-direct reporting teams.
+ Ability to maintain good judgment under pressure in high-stress environments.
