Procurement Specialist 4
Description We are on the lookout for an adept Procurement Specialist to join our team located in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be focusing on executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, ensuring contract and procurement compliance, and supporting both regional and national initiatives. Responsibilities: • Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for both facility and project services. • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to enhance service operations and contribute to the formulation of sourcing strategies. • Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and operational insights to guide strategic decision-making. • Oversee the management of supplier relationships and key programs. • Ensure the accuracy of contract data and its proper storage in databases and other tools. • Handle the maintenance of up-to-date contract and supplier files, ensuring compliance with client requirements. • Collaborate with the operations team to facilitate seamless sourcing and supply chain processes. • Foster strong relationships with the client's Legal and Risk Management teams to ensure contract terms align with legal standards. • Manage customer expectations proactively and address their needs effectively. • Assist in the planning and management of operation budgets. • Coordinate and communicate the launch of regional and national programs effectively. • Support supplier relationship and performance programs in collaboration with the Category Management team. • Uphold compliance with sourcing and contracting policies, risk management programs, and ethical standards. • Conduct research on suppliers, manage RFPs and RFQs, analyze outcomes, and provide client recommendations. • Negotiate, create, and manage contracts for a variety of goods and services. • Prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and resolve issues to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction. • Lead and engage in reviews to evaluate supplier performance. Requirements • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal • Proficient in data entry and database management • Experience in generating detailed reports • Understanding of operations and planning in a business context • Knowledge of standard procedures and policies relevant to procurement • Ability to conduct thorough research and review of potential vendors • Familiarity with budget processes and financial oversight • Experience in human resources administration • Project management skills, with a focus on overseeing contracts and insurance matters • Proficiency with the "About Time" software or similar project management tools • Understanding of pricing strategies and negotiation tactics in procurement • Experience with benefit functions in a corporate setting • Ability to manage and oversee facility operations • Proven track record in driving progress and implementing new strategies • Extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management • Excellent negotiation skills • Experience in process implementation and optimization • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and communication.
