Category Management Services
Deliverables
1. Supports the India Construction Category Business Leader for Construction category within India region to:
2. Implement, and drive category and vendor strategies using business and market data. Continue to optimize category through spend reduction, driving innovations, value enhancement, and risk mitigation
3. Develop project pipeline in working with the stakeholders
4. Lead RFx creation/management, supplier communications, market research/analysis, data collection/analysis, and contract management, development and redlining (pricing, terms and conditions, SOWs, MSAs, etc.).
5. Support opportunity assessments, category strategies, supplier negotiations and supplier performance/relationship management.
6. Capture product and service requirements from business owners and stakeholders for RFx activities and supplier business reviews.
7. Support the business in spend management projects that accomplish key objectives like savings, process effectiveness, supplier consolidation & management, risk reduction & management, improved visibility, and control of expenditures.
8. Facilitate accurate and favorable transactions, supplier relationship management and compliance.
9. Support business reviews with strategic suppliers
Expectations
Supplier will assign a qualified resource for Category Management Services
· Experience in the facilities & construction sourcing categories.
· Collaboration and communication skills (both verbal and written) are demonstrably effective in a collaborative environment. You are confident in managing and executing projects from start to finish.
· Resourceful with a strong work ethic, committed to complete execution of projects and objectives.
· Communicate in a clear, concise, and timely manner and operate effectively as a team player
· A self- starter.
· Creative problem solver and negotiator.
· Thrive when multi-tasking and work best in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
· Exceptional customer service skills
· Familiarity with procurement software (SAP SRM, Ariba and Ariba CLM, Workday Sourcing, Taulia), approval workflows, purchasing policy development and contracts.
· Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills.
· Bachelor’s Degree and / or Procurement, Supply Chain, Project Management and /or relevant industry certification(s) preferred.
· Min 4 - 5 years within Indirect Procurement
· Languages: English and Kannada
