Procurement Specialist
Qualifications: + 2-5+ years of sourcing experience with vendors utilizing ERP or MRP systems. + Intermediate-level proficiency in Excel. + Experience with purchasing, procurement, supply chain, and purchase orders. Job Description Secures and analyzes quotations; negotiates prices and terms with suppliers; and recommends suppliers with respect to cost, quality and delivery. Initiates purchase orders for parts, services and/or special tools with suppliers. Arranges for submission and inspection of sample products as required; coordinates closely with plant engineering to ensure timely execution of product sourcing activities. Coordinates, as appropriate, quality matters and engineering changes or developments between company activities and suppliers. Assists in qualifying new sources and in the resolution of production, design, quality and/or delivery problems. Interfaces with inter-company departments, including Engineering, Quality Control, Production, and Stock Room. Determines actions needed on move-up and MRP reports daily. Interfaces with vendors to move-up, delay and/or check on status of parts on order. Maintains costs, information, and reports with the Accounting Department. Work Environment Monday through Friday- 8am to 5pm Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $33.65 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
