Description We are seeking a diligent Procurement Specialist to join our team in Pasadena, Texas. The role is within the Maritime Industry and offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. The position will involve managing customer requisitions, tracking costs and budgets, and other procurement tasks. Responsibilities: • Handle and process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency • Maintain precise records related to customer credit • Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as necessary • Carry out procurement tasks, including submitting requisitions and managing buying processes • Employ ERP solutions for effective Enterprise Resource Planning • Leverage tools such as 3M, Coupa, and CRM for efficient procurement activities • Track and manage budgets and costs related to procurement • Provide exceptional customer service at all times • Handle invoice related activities as part of the role.
