Procurement Specialist (End-to-End)

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska.

As the Procurement Specialist, reporting to the Director of Procurement, you will oversee procurement engagement in the new product introduction process, taking primary responsibility for procurement resource engagement during the initial phases of product introduction. Additionally, you will be the procurement representative on select cost savings projects, driving cost efficiencies across Conagra’s supply chain.

Position Responsibilities:

Ensure all ingredients and packaging materials are available to support new product introductions, renovations, and ongoing production requirements while balancing volume sensitivity on new product innovation.

Facilitate cost reduction programs by generating savings ideas and coordinating their implementation in partnership with platforms and category managers.

Provide the Enterprise Procurement organization with visibility into the innovation and renovation pipeline, including the necessary requirements and timelines.

Represent Enterprise Procurement in business innovation forums, highlighting supply risks, lead times, unique ingredients and other factors that may impact project timelines.

Be the primary liaison for Procurement on the Supply Chain End-to-End teams, ensuring communication of business initiative requirements and strategies to the broader Enterprise Procurement organization.

Position Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.

2+ years in Procurement, Supply Chain, R&D or Finance roles in a CPG environment.

Experience leading successful projects or categories.

MRP experience (SAP preferred).

Strategic mindset that delivers results across all functions.

We require applicants for this role to be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship either now or in the future.

You will typically in the office Tuesday-Thursday. Mondays and Fridays are usually remote.
