This is a hybrid role, 3x per week in the Perrysburg office.
This position is accountable for supporting the procurement of raw materials (including sourcing, contract management, cost savings, etc) to ensure best practice and best total cost of ownership for North America.
This position will support the procurement of raw materials and cullet totaling ~$300M for the 18 plants in North AmericaDevelop and execute strategic sourcing activities as requiredPrepare monthly reports of KPI’s including EBIT savings, working capital, inflation, and spend informationReview contract issues identified by suppliers, understand the business impact and negotiate most favorable conditions for O-IManage supply base for assigned commoditiesResponsibilities:
Support the development and execution of strategic sourcing activities for raw materials and cullet, leveraging industry best practices, commodity experience, sourcing methodology and global partnerships whenever possible, under the supervision of Procurement Manager(s)Develop and execute strategic sourcing activities as requiredSupport Procurement Manager(s) with RFI / RFP / RFQ activities for new and existing requirements and provide data analysis (quotations, spend, cost, payment terms/methods, etc)Negotiate vendor contracts in compliance with legal standards and business requirementsReview vendor performance to ensure contract adherence and drive continuous improvementsAnalyze, develop, and implement commodity initiatives / projects to drive savingsParticipate in and / or lead special projects as requiredQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related-area Minimum 5-7 years of relevant work experienceProficient analytical and computer skills (Excel and PowerPoint)Working experience with SAP or other ERP system strongly preferredStrong written and verbal communication skills. Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $75,000 - $90,000 annually. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
