Job Description

Due to continued growth, we are now seeking an Procurement Support Manager to join a new and evolving procurement function at our Rugby site. 

As our Procurement Support Manager you will be undertaking sourcing activities and managing supplier relationships, enhancing financial performance and business resilience.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm offering a competitive salary and package with the opportunity to work for a forward thinking market leader.

Job responsibilities of Procurement Support Manage include:

Provide a comprehensive, business focused procurement and commercial service, ensuring that best value for money is achieveMange the negotiation, planning and placing of contractsBuild and maintain relationships with business teams and influencing procurement decision makingEffectively manage suppliers and contracts to sustain value throughout the life of contractsEnsure that appropriate approvals and correct commercial contract documentation and conditions of contract are appliedContribution to Preferred Supplier ListProvide and deliver training on procurement procedures and policiesProduce management information and reports

QualificationsProven ability to identify and implement value add commercial solutions within a fast paced multi-site organisationProven ability to effectively manage multiple and potentially conflicting stakeholdersEvidence of commercial and financial understanding, driving creative and market leading value solutionsProven ability to negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders to drive an optimised outcomeProven ability to implement strategic category plansConfident and effective communicator, successfully influencing decisionsConfident in challenging not only the supply chain model, but also the demand for and specification of the goods / serviceA general commercial mindset, always seeking to identify opportunities to add value
