Supplier Risk & Due Diligence
Work cross-functionally to ensure suppliers undergo a robust screening process that mitigates risks to the organisation. Conduct compliance risk assessments and due diligence on high-risk vendors through research, data analysis, and investigation. Assist in drafting due diligence reports, including proposed actions to mitigate identified risks. Identify and flag any attempts to bypass risk management and procurement governance. Advise project managers and business leads on supplier screening outcomes and recommended mitigation measures. Conduct supplier audits and support internal procurement audits as directed by the Procurement Manager. Maintain and support effective risk management and compliance programs, including scorecards and monitoring tools. Escalate emerging or actual compliance risks to the Procurement Manager for resolution. Utilize evaluative judgment to assess risk and drive adherence to Arcadis third-party governance policies.Vendor Master Data & P2P Compliance
Maintain and update vendor records in compliance with internal controls and audit requirements. Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support accurate and timely vendor setup. Create and maintain documentation, workflows, and standard work instructions to support the P2P and supplier due diligence process. Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and Accounts Payable to support consistent and compliant procurement execution. Respond to enquiries, manage complaints professionally, and provide quality service to Arcadians.Team Leadership & Line Management
Lead by example by actively participating in the team’s day to day operational tasks, ensuring alignment with service standards and process requirements. Manage the daily workload, task allocation, and performance of a procurement support team. Plan and define SMART goals and ensure delivery of KPIs across procurement risk and data areas. Support recruitment activities by participating in interviews and providing candidate feedback. Conduct regular check-ins and contribute to formal performance reviews (e.g., GPS development planning). Provide coaching and task-level support; escalate performance or conduct issues to the Procurement Manager as appropriate. Promote continuous learning by supporting professional development and upskilling within the team. Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and inspiring team culture that values diversity and wellbeing. Promote and model Health, Safety, and work–life balance practices.Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements to drive standardisation, efficiency, and risk reduction. Build strong working relationships with Procurement, AP, Supplier Data, and other internal teams. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistency, share knowledge, and promote best practices. Support Sustainable Procurement, Direct and Indirect Procurement teams in maintaining compliance controls. Lead by example in conduct, professionalism, and adherence to Arcadis valuesQualifications & Experience:
Demonstrates capability and the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams around a common purpose. Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills, with ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously. At least 2 years risk management, operational risk, compliance, audits and controls, and third-party management Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office application · Experience in ERP preferred Ability to resolve issues in a timely manner Highly motivated Effective time management skills Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication Procurement qualification (or equivalent by experience) highly desirableWhy Arcadis?
