The PositionAs an intern in the role of Procurement Business Trainee, you will be a key member of the Finance, IT, and Business Operations Team, reporting to the Procurement Lead. You will support the team in the Commercial Finance Operations transformation, fostering collaboration and a customer-centric approach. This role involves assisting with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies, as well as participating in the preparation and execution of public tenders. You will work closely with various departments including Finance, Commercial, Marketing, Technical, Regulatory & Quality, and Legal, translating business needs into actionable strategies and optimizing company resources.

Main Responsibilities:Develop knowledge of the supplier market, market trends, and innovations.Assist in scouting strategic partners in the reference market.Support the identification of 3rd party solutions and products for market tenders.Help analyze commercial suppliers' proposals and support the negotiation process.Assist in the supplier relationship management process to improve efficiency and commercial conditions.Support the set-up of supplier contracts in coordination with other functions, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and legal frameworks.Contribute to the planning and implementation of source-to-pay activities and the use of eSourcing tools.Participate in supplier performance review, due diligence, and risk assessment.Collaborate with different functional areas to deliver better outcomes.

Main Requirements:Pursuing or having recently completed a Master’s Degree.Strong organizational and communication skills.Passion for change, simplification, and process improvement.Ability to build trusting and productive relationships.Entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity.Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken.
