Job Purpose:
Drive the digital transformation of procurement processes by implementing digitalization strategies, tools, and best practices to ensure a compliant, efficient, and effective procurement organization. Identify, implement, and manage best-in-class, future-proof applications that align with the holistic Source-to-Pay landscape, ensuring tools are user-friendly, deliver reliable data, and support streamlined processes. Take ownership as Project Manager and Application Owner for procurement sourcing tools, automation technologies, and related projects, including content management, workflow optimization, technical integrations, system consolidations, migrations, and rollouts.
Your tasks:
Serve as the Application Owner for Automation tools (e.g., AI, BPMN, RPA) and act as a third-level subject matter expert (SME). Act as a Global Project Manager and Process Analyst to assess and implement digitalization and automation opportunities in procurement processes. Ensure Service Excellence by managing the procurement service management application, driving continuous improvement, and following up on SLAs. Lead the global Procurement BPMN transformation project to standardize and optimize processes. Define and document business requirements, incorporating regional/local exceptions, and translate them into actionable technical specifications. Research and explore state-of-the-art solutions and technologies, both internally and externally, to develop proposals for procurement use cases. Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and data quality, managing global rollouts and ensuring effective change management. Contribute to procurement strategy development and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making. Ensure governance of procurement applications, focusing on compliance, security, documentation, and audit readiness. Act as a bridge between Procurement Managers and IT experts, fostering collaboration and alignment.Your profile:
3+ years of professional experience in IT, digital transformation, project management, or business process improvement, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency. Familiarity with digital tools and technologies for procurement, such as eSourcing, Contract Management, or automation platforms (AI, BPMN, RPA), or a strong willingness to learn and adapt to these systems. Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive change while maintaining control over content, costs, and quality. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. Highly motivated, solution-oriented, and a true team player, with a track record of driving process improvements. Proficient in English; knowledge of German is a plus or willingness to learn. Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and process modeling tools. Customer-centric with excellent communication skills. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in industrial engineering, IT, data science, technology, or a related field.We offer:
