The Producer, Creative Services at WFTX is responsible for conceptualizing writing and producing on-air local commercial productions promotions, and station sponsorship spots and graphic design.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Conceptualize, write, and edit on-air promotional spots for news, sales, web, and special projects using multiple platformsConceptualize, and create best in class, strategically sound graphic design solutionsInteract with and respond to social media audiencesCoordinate the best on-air, social, and digital marketing materialsWork closely with the news team on story development and visual design in story presentationWork closely with affiliates to support programming on air and onlinePerform other duties as needed by managementWHAT YOU’LL NEED:
High School diploma (or GED) required. Bachelor’s degree preferred1 - 3 year’s experience of writing or editing in local broadcast preferredAt least two (2) years professional broadcasting marketing, graphics, and creative services experience requiredWHAT YOU'LL BRING
Working knowledge of current creative suite for product developmentSuperb attention to detail, time management skills, and strong communication skillsKnowledge of post-production television editing suites, with emphasis on Adobe Creative SuiteExperience working with camera, audio, and light equipmentWorking knowledge of MAC systemsValid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to provide proof of insurance with the company required insurance limitsAdditional Requirements
