Job Description

Responsibilities

Play a key role in writing, planning and producing new episodes of original Dateline podcast contentEdit episodes using Descript and Pro ToolsAnticipate audio problems and production blockages and work actively with the team to solveSet and manage production scheduleLead internal editorial review process and communicate with senior editorial to address notesLiaise with marketing to provide promo assets Delegate tasks to and collaborate with Associate Producer to keep projects moving

Qualifications

Skills/Requirements

At least 5 years podcast experience at the AP or producer levelDemonstrated experience editing and producing two-waysAbility to manage multiple shows in multiple phases of production simultaneouslyKnowledge of audio file types and methods of capture in-studio, in the field and remotelyFluency with both Descript and Pro Tools softwareExperience with Riverside.fm is a plusExperience scoring episodes using pre-existing music libraries is a plusVideo editing experience a plus

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Additional information:
A PEP Regular who works more than 1,000 hours per measurement period is: 

Eligible for 401K after 1,000 hours worked in 12 consecutive months Eligible for Health and Welfare benefits on 1st day of employment Eligible to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Program after 90 days of employment 

Salary range: $110,000 - $180,000.
