Posting Number NONAC3436 Job Title Producer, Photo & Video Position Title Producer, Photo & Video Position Type Non-Faculty Number of vacancies 1 Salary $71,750 Department Marketing and Communications Position Summary Provides both video and still photography services necessary for planned campaigns (print and digital). Additionally, this position will provide professional editing services for captured video/photos as well as provide video/photos in the appropriate file format for social, web and print needs.
Produce, direct and edit internal and external-facing videos for social media, internal communications, web site, recruiting/HR and marketing initiatives. Assist in various production roles on larger video productions (i.e. TV ads, large campaigns, etc.) Provide professional quality still photographs. Produces, edits and distributes media content as required which may include photographs, motion pictures, motion graphics, animation, audio and music. Coordinates and executes shoots on site/on location including lighting, audio, camera operation and talent direction. Additionally, handles assignments requiring special lighting, multiple locations, creativity, special audio needs, custom graphics, and animation. Edits and assembles final visual/audio program material creating compelling and visually interesting products; observes brand standards, ensures consistency and relevancy to production; monitors technical quality of product; creates photo galleries and slideshows with audio. Writes and produces photographic or video narratives; recommends, determines and procures type of talent needed for voice over work. Conducts interviews with employees, administrators, physicians, clinicians, patients and community members to ensure that valuable sound bites and visual deliverables are appropriately captured. Scouts shoot locations and assesses possible obstacles in filming and provides solutions or alternatives. Maintains all equipment in proper working order including troubleshooting and minor repairs as necessary. This position requires some early morning, evening, and/or weekend hours to complete assignments. Minimum Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in professional videography (conceptualizing, writing, shooting, editing, producing) and still photography with a reel/portfolio demonstrating creativity/proficiency. Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited university or college, or a relevant industry certification, or a combination of education and experience may be substituted with supervisor’s approval. Experience in operating SLRs (single lens reflex), Video Cameras, EFP, sound recording equipment, composing sequential shots, editing. Experience with digital workflows for images and videos. Knowledge of live streaming platforms like Limelight, YouTube, Google+ Hangouts.
