As a Producer with Disney Live Entertainment, we lead the project team(s) in the development and execution of creative intent. The Producer coordinates and drives the production process, financial management, design implementation, client interface, and overall delivery of our live entertainment productions.

This is an hourly casual temporary/seasonal role that reports to the Managing Producer.

What You Will Do

Lead the team through all aspects of the show life cycleProvide leadership, direction, mentorship, and support to our Production Managers, Production Assistants, Production Stage Managers, Guest Experience Managers, and other production team members on assigned projectsAccountable for project goals, milestones, status reports, risk assessment, overall financial targets, and client satisfactionDeliver and integrate new live entertainment experiences into our Walt Disney World Parks and ResortsPartner closely with the show directorConstantly seek ways to improve creative vision, drive innovation, and foster immersive storytelling, all while removing obstacles for our entire teamNegotiate contracts and make creative/design compromises where neededCommunicate project concepts and key information to all levels of leadership and partnersChampion our safety, environmental stewardship, inclusion, and other corporate initiatives

Required Qualifications & Skills

8+ years of experience in strong, diversified team leadership in entertainment show production, live event production, and/or technical disciplinesOutstanding leadership, mentoring, and coaching skillsProven experience building and working in a collaborative environmentCore knowledge and experience with theatrical technologies, i.e. Lighting, Special Effects, Pyrotechnics, Audio, Projection, Set Design, and ConstructionProven track record of communicating with multiple partners at various levels, including site, domestic, and global executivesAbility to negotiate, coordinate, and provide direction as well as complete multiple tasks on timeChampion continuous process improvementStrong business knowledge of budgets and schedulesAvailable and willing to work weekends, holidays, and third shift as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Entertainment Production and Operations in a professional theatrical, theme park, or cruise line environmentWillingness to travel on various domestic and international assignments as needed, including Disney Cruise LineWorking knowledge of Walt Disney World collective bargaining agreements, including AEA, AFM, IATSE, and Service Trades Union contractsProficiency in any other language is a plus (Mandarin, French, Japanese, Spanish, etc.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent experience in entertainment production or related field
