ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

TelevisaUnivision is seeking a talented and experienced Producer The candidate should maintain good and clear communication with the show’s executive producer, anchor, and production team.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

Research topics and prepare questions and elements for news interviews on a range of topics including local, national and international news and politics

Fill in as line producer on an as needed basis

Monitor latest news and social media to pitch relevant stories

Translate aptly from English to Spanish

Quick reaction to breaking news and possible show news updates

Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Other duties as assigned

YOU HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in communication/Journalism or equivalent experience

Strong editorial news judgment

Excellent writing skills

Ability to perform well under pressure, manage breaking news situations, meet strict deadlines, and respond quickly to changes.

Proven storytelling ability across all platforms in English and Spanish

Working knowledge of INews

Fluent in English & Spanish (read and write)

Proficient in newsroom computer systems and applications Eligibility Requirements
