Job Description

Visa Alias Directory Service offers capabilities for clients to link Aliases, such as mobile numbers or email addresses, to payment credentials such as cards or bank accounts. This helps simplify payments, improve the user experience, and protect sensitive payment credential information.

The Product Analyst is a business-oriented role focused on ensuring the smooth launch of new product features while maintaining the high standards of existing products. You will drive product feature launches through monitoring, communications, and technical specifications, and implement performance requirements, enforcement programs, and operational processes.

The successful candidate will work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to analyze and manage technical aspects of Visa's product offerings. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

This position can be filled at any Visa office located in Miami, FL. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering: Work closely with client-facing teams and other stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements.Product Development: Working closely with the engineering and architecture team to ensure the product is built to specification and meets global client needs (e.g., features and stories writing, acceptance criteria defining, feature refinement, feature planning, and releases).Team Collaboration: Collaborate with a cross-functional team of product managers, program managers, and engineers, maintaining a can-do mindset and a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability.Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate with stakeholders across the organization to keep them informed of progress and gather their input.Market Analysis: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our product competitive, drive innovation, and develop new products.Product Vision and Strategy: Contribute to and work with product leads on the vision and strategy for supporting partners’ portfolios and developing platform applications.Product Documentation: Create detailed product documentation and marketing materials for external clients and internal teams.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between remote and office work. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD).
• Strong technical skills and ability to translate customer needs into product requirements.
• Strong communication skills and ability to speak to all levels of the organization.
• Solid execution and delivery skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD or PhD).
• Experience in product development/deployment, management consulting, or banking.
• Technical experience with APIs preferred.
• Strategic thinker with superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in global organizations, collaborating with stakeholders, partners, and teams worldwide to drive regional and global product launch.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Tools (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 100,000.00 to 141,250.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
