Synopsis of the role
At Equifax, the Summer 2025 Product Analyst co-op a 15-week co-op program, is a gateway to full-time career paths for current university students who are currently pursuing their Bachelor’s Degree. The program provides meaningful projects with direct impact on our business as well as exposure to senior leaders and opportunities to network. Your main objective as a Product Analyst coop Consumer Solution is to develop, implement and evolve the B2C capabilities offered by Equifax, and ensure the continued strategic alignment between the services we offer and the needs of the Canadian marketplace.
The 15 week co-op program runs from May 6th, 2025 to August 22nd, 2025.
Co ops are required to follow our hybrid onsite policy of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - onsite for the duration of the 15 - week program.
Monday and Friday are remote work days.
Co ops must be local to the Toronto/ Montreal area and have the ability to commute to our office in Toronto / Montreal based on where the role is.
What you’ll do
Life-cycle management of a portfolio of products via a strong and comprehensive strategy.
Collaborate with Sales, Sales Performance, Consulting Services and Pricing to develop and achieve product revenue and profitability objectives.
Discover and validate market problems (both existing and future customers) and have a hand in the product release/enhancement planning.
Seek new market opportunities by leveraging the company's distinctive competence.
Define and size market segments, and distribution strategy by doing market segmentation analysis and working with Product Marketing Managers to define key measurements of product line performance and success criteria.
Provide oversight of strategy, while collaborating to ensure technical, and marketing aspects align for all products in the portfolio.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and business plans for successful NPI processes.
What experience you need
2+ years of experience in a product management role, defining and launching services that solve complex needs.
Proficient in big data analytics, problem solving, adjudication models, credit scoring solutions.
2+ years of exposure to the financial services industry.
Hands-on experience helping manage and drive enterprise project deliveries.
What could set you apart
Familiarity with risk adjudication.
Experience working with/for large financial institutions.
