About the role:
This role will be responsible for designing, developing and managing activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life.
About the team:
20 Person Implementation and Consulting team for FIS Aligne, working directly with the Aligne software development team to provide the best solutions for our customers. We are client facing roles that perfect the requirements and deliver those specifics during the project phase.
What you will be doing:
• Collaborate with clients to identify business needs and processes to be addressed by ETRM solutions, driving change management and improvement opportunities.
• Document business requirements, design implementation plans, and create test plans/results along with other project deliverables.
• Exhibit in-depth knowledge in key ETRM modules, commodity/energy operations, financial products, risk management, and accounting.
• Lead implementation activities, including system configuration, functional testing, and production support for the solution.
• Adhere to best practices in implementation, documentation standards, and resolution processes for all project deliverables.
• Work with technical teams to develop custom solutions tailored to client requirements.
• Provide industry and functional advisory as required.
• Apply suitable resource allocation techniques considering project-specific needs, risks, and the expertise of core team members.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, including business clients, project managers, and team members.
• Support the development and growth of junior consultants and the firm's Energy and Commodity Consulting Practice.
• Conduct training sessions on functionality and general ETRM/CTRM topics.
What you will need:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with end-to-end implementation projects.
• Profound understanding of one or more functional areas and relevant ETRM modules.
• Experience in eliciting functional requirements, converting them into functional specifications and designs, implementing these on the ETRM platform, and providing testing and support.
• Background in Commodity or Energy (Oil, Power, Gas, Ags, Renewables) Trading and Risk Management. • Familiarity with deal capture, referential and static data.
• Knowledge of Risk valuation (P&L, VAR, MTM).
• Experience with trade operations, including confirmations, settlements, accounting, and compliance functions.
• Expertise in Front-office, Mid-office, or Back-office configurations.
• Knowledge of industry platforms in the space such as, but not limited to Endur, Allegro, Aligne, Quorum.
• Understanding of ETRM architecture and best implementation practices to optimize client solutions.
• Proficiency in standard and customized implementation approaches, reporting, building complex deal blotters, and pre/post-processing logic
• Ability to work effectively within a project team and deliver results with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required by the project.
