For this role we are specifically looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern currently enrolled in a Masters program at an accredited College or University in North Carolina and eager to join our Medicare Product and Market Strategy team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the healthcare industry, specifically focusing on Medicare products and market strategies. The intern will work closely with our team to support various projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing our Medicare offerings and expanding our market presence.
Assist in the development and implementation of market research initiatives to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
Support the analysis of Medicare product performance and market data to inform strategic decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data related to product development, pricing, and distribution.
Contribute to the creation of marketing materials, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings to generate innovative ideas for product and market growth.
Assist in the coordination of events, webinars, and other promotional activities.
Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the team.
What you Bring
Currently pursuing a Masters degree in Business, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Ability to work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks from May 19 – July 25, 2025

Compensation
Undergraduates: Rising Sophomore: $18/hr
Undergraduates: Rising Junior/Senior: $21/hr
Returning Interns: $23/hr
Masters Students/JD: $27/hr
MBA Students/PharmD: $36/hr

Salary Range
At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs.
