Requisition ID: 42629 Job Location(s): Nordborg, DK **Job Description** Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for a Product Application Engineer (PAE) to support and train internal and external customers on the joystick and electronics product range from the Business unit, Connect & Control Solutions (BU CCS). A good understanding of mechanics, electronics and software programming for embedded controllers and joysticks is needed to be successful in supporting our customers. The position requires an outgoing personality and gives the opportunity to meet many of Danfoss’ internal and external customers, understand their needs and help them in building knowledge in Danfoss’ control systems. The Product Application Engineer (PAE) is an integral connection between Sales & Marketing (S&M) or Customer and the Business Unit (BU), providing on-site and remote technical support for designated products. Focused on enhancing customer satisfaction, the PAE also assists develops technical content, delivers product training, and assists in gathering market insights to inform Product Marketing Management (PMM). Moreover, the PAE participates in Product Development Project (PDP) launches and Change Management processes to ensure successful product introductions and modifications aligned with market needs. **Job Responsibilities** + Technical support and education within the field of electrohydraulic control systems for the Off-Highway market with a focus on Joysticks. + Technical support to Danfoss customers that can be OEMs, distributers and internal Danfoss staff. + Technical support of Danfoss’ Sales Department, to help Danfoss sell Danfoss Connected & Control Solutions products and software solutions. + Hold technical face-to face presentations and trainings both at Danfoss’ facilities and at costumer’s premises. + Develop new technical training and presentation material. + Collect information about ideas for improvements and bring them as input to the organization and thus turn the customer’s voice into the companies’ development process. + Bridge the customer advanced question to the internal development department. + Be the customers advocate in testing the new functionalities. + Handle customer request notifications (CRNs) from specification into the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM ) and use of the Product Life Management system (PLM) to finally complete the CRN task and be responsible for as “mini-project leaders” in the CRN-projects. **Background & Skills** + Bachelor or Master’s degree within Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar + Software development experience + Mechanical and Electronic development experience + A few years of customer contact experience. + Experience in CRM and PLM system is an advantage + Fluent in English On a more **personal note,** we believe youare structured and can adapt into changing situations.We also believe you haveexcellent social and communicative skills, and that you enjoyworking as a part of well-functioning team with a common goal but where everyone has their own individual tasks.
