Your role and responsibilities

ABB is searching for a Product Application Specialist who will serve as a key technical resource in the Western US utilizing the Mobile Solutions vehicle and other product marketing resources to support the Product Management, Sales Organization, and our Customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions for the applied products and technology. This role will include heavy travel across the Western US, taking our products directly to distributors, customers, channel partners.This role will work remotely (#LI-Remote) when not traveling across the US.You will be mainly accountable for:- Offering technical advice and provides comment on enquiry specifications for customers / channels / Sales Engineers regarding ABB’s products / systems / applications.- Preparing and implementing the scheduling and agendas for regional sales trainings and customers activities while working in close contact with the regional sales team including Sales Application Engineers, Account Manager and Sales Agent teams. - Coordinating the product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of ABB’s solutions- Providing technical support during technical meetings, product presentations, and trainings at channel partner and end customer locations using the Mobile Solutions vehicles.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor Degree preferred, or combination of education plus experience totaling 10 years (ie. Associate's Degree with 8 years, or 10 years practical experience, example experience may include technical hands on role like journeyman electrical contractors, distribution or OEM sales experience, or other)5 - 10 years of relevant experience in business strategy, market intelligence / competitor analysis, go-to-market strategy, customer experience, and/or technical sales or applications.Clean Driving Record RequiredAbility to travel 60 - 75% across assigned region (Western US)Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
