The PAL Consumer Lending reports to the Tribe Lead Consumer Lending and Insurance.

Your key responsibilities

As the PAL (Product Area Lead) for Consumer Lending, you will:

Collaborate with the Tribe Lead Consumer Lending and Insurance to define a winning strategy for Consumer Lending Netherlands, aligning with the Tribe’s objectives and other stakeholders.Hierarchically responsible for 3 Product Leads, responsible for products deliveryLead the digitization of the Consumer Loan customer base, personalize our services, close the NPS gap with competitors, and make our processes personal, easy, and smart.Execute the strategic objective to unlock instant lending capabilities in the Netherlands, extend the offer to non-ING customers and setting up partnerships to ensure profitable financial performance and portfolio management of Dutch Consumer Loans.Drive towards our joint goals and form strong partnerships with the IT-Area Lead and other stakeholders.Gain a deep understanding of the market and our customers to create the best possible offers and journeys, boosting value for the bank.Strive for excellence in operational tasks (RUN activities), seeking automation where possible and eliminating non-value-adding manual tasks.Ensure the tribe meets or exceeds standards for Risk and Compliance.

About you

A Master’s degree.10+ years of banking experience, including commercial and lending expertise.Proven track record in digitalization and strategic roadmap execution.Experience in consumer lending, with a focus on Pricing and Credit Risk Management.Experience is setting up partnerships to drive growthInterest in and understanding of business to IT (a plus).Familiarity with the ING Agile Way of Working (a plus).
